As you may know, I am a very, very strong atheist, so it's not likely I would share something like this, but I just found it way too kool not to. Made by Flickr user Legohaulic, I think it's safe to say that this is the only piece of slightly religious anything that I like. Well done.

Lego 8833 - Series 8 Minifigures
Pictures of the new series of Lego Minifigures has just been released, and a lot sooner that everyone thought, considering the limited edition Olympic ones have only been out for a couple of months. For me, that takes a little of the excitement out of it, but not a whole lot. Here's a list of the new figs; (these may not be the real names, so don't get attached to them)
The few figs that jump out at me, would have to be the Space Overlord, for the head and cape, I can't get over how awesome that is, The Fairy and the Skier, just for the oddly coloured pieces, and last but not least, the DJ, mainly because I see a little of myself in him.

Lego Super Heroes
Here's most of the new Lego DC super heroes and villans. My favourite is defiantly the Hulk, although I'm not quite sure how his arms are connected. I think it could be similar to the giant rock monster from the old Power Miners series a few years ago. Don't forget to look up Hawkeye, Loki, Robin, Bane and a few others that aren't here. Cya!

Lego Magazine - March 2012
I got my Lego Magazine today. It came with a Series 4 minifigure, mine was Frankenstein. There was the usual scattering of advertisements, one saying the was to be a Festival of Play to celebrate 50 years of Lego in Australia. The magazine itself contained pictures of the new Ninjago characters, a Star Wars Lego comic with the usual cheesy ending, the new Police game, positive reviews of Ninjago Training Set and profiles of all the Super Heroes in the new series of the same name.

Real Lego Minecraft
I know that heaps of rumors about Lego Minecraft have been going around, and I'll admit that the previously posted picture was a fake, but this is really real. Its been released by Lego, and even though theres only one set, its still awesome. As you can see from the picture on the far left, it comes in four 'blocks', which can be re-arranged however one likes. Bon Appetite!

Are you telling me this sucker is nuclear?!
This is really kool. At 5 studs wide, this DeLorean is a very complex design, using certain pieces in very unusual ways - like the binoculars, the strings and rubber bands, but mainly the ingenious use for 1x2 cheese-grater slopes. This build was by Legohaulic, and you can find his flickr stream here.

Lego Escher
This is awesome. Its almost 10 years old, but none the less is it still one of the best MOCs I've ever seen. See what I'm talking about here

Preview - Monster Fighters
There's a great new Lego series that is planned to come out in June this year. It is called Monster Fighters and from all I can find on the Internet, it looks great. As different coloured crystals are featured in every set, you can presume that these are going to be involved in the storyline. There are currently eight sets that are going to be released with Halloween-themed titles. They are as follows:
- The Swamp Monster
- Mummie
- Were Wolf
- Vampire Hearse
- The Zombies
- Frankenstein
- Ghost Train
- Vampire Castle

Lego Surveys
The Lego website have got a new survey to do. In general, you should not complete this as it is boring and a waste of your time. However, if there is something about the website that you want changed (eg. earlier release of sets).
Of course, there is still the Lego Review Survey which is a lot more worthwhile because you can go into the draw to win a Lego set.

Review - Minifigure - Genie
This minifigure appears in the Minifigure Series 6
Pros:
-All the pieces are unique.
-The hat pin is removable.
-This turquoise/blue colour has never been used.
Cons:
-As kool as the golden hands are, turquoise/blue would have been better.
-The tail piece only takes up one stud, making the Genie stand un-evenly on the stand.

- The ninja sword looks very good.
- He is the only one of all the Ninjago ninjas with believable suit colours.
Cons:
- The head is pretty plain.
- The torso and legs do not really match.

Review - Minifigure - Argus Filch
This minifigure is from Hogwart's Castle 4842.
Pros:
- A nice torso design.
- The keys printed on the legs work well.
- Unique head.
- Mrs. Norris has a printed face, the first cat to have one.
Cons:
- The lamp works effectively but a more unusual design would have been good.
- Dumbledore hair? They come in the same set.

Review - Minifigure - Small Clown
The Small Clown minifigure is from the Minifigure Series 5.
Pros:
- Who doesn't love a pie-wielding clown?
- All the pieces are very rare.
- You get another set of mini legs.
- There are so many things you can do with a custard pie.
Cons:
- Really? Another clown minifigure? There's already one in Series 1.
- It's a bit expensive, but then so is all the other Lego.
- I seriously can't think of anymore.
